Once Saved Always Saved

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These verses, from the book of Romans, are used to say that you cannot lose your salvation. (Once Saved Always Saved) So, you can live like hell and still be saved. God hates sin and you continue to sin after being saved, do you really think that God is going to think that is ok? Sooner or later we all will be judged by God. The answer to Romans 8:35 is not who but what will separate us from God.

Psa 5:4  For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Psa 5:5  The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Psa 5:6  Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Psa 11:4  The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Psa 11:5  The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psa 11:6  Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
Psa 11:7  For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Pro 6:16  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17  A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

As you can see in the verses above God hates sin and rebellion and the sinner. God is a right and just God. He gives us free will to accept him or to refuse him. With that same free will, we have the ability to go back into sin. Because the flesh is weak, we will give into the flesh and fall back into sin. This is why God commands us to continue in his righteousness. He knows we will continue to sin, that is why he tells us to repent of our sins.

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb 10:28  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Heb 10:29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite

Heb 3:12  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Heb 3:13  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb 3:14  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

2Pe 2:20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 2Pe 2:21  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 2Pe 2:22  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Heb 6:4  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

What are these verses actually saying?

For those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, these are the people who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.

They have been enlightened or educated by the Word of God and have tasted the heavenly gift of Salvation. Who were receivers of the Holy Ghost and have tasted the living water of God and the love in the world to come.

For it is impossible(not able to be done), if they shall fall away (Apostasy-abandonment of their belief), to renew(re-establish a relationship) them again unto repentance(acknowledging regret for having done something wrong); seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

If you think you can live any way you want after being saved and still go to heaven, go ahead. Remember, that you will be judged like everyone else. Remember, God is right and just and will judged you accordingly.
